PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Laura received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alberta in 2001 and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2009. Between her University degrees, Laura worked as a consultant with a renowned Management Consulting firm in Calgary where she taught Mental Toughness Training for Success to top professionals and athletes across Canada. Upon graduation from law school, Laura completed a ten month clerkship with the Court of Appeal of Alberta in Edmonton.
While in law school, Laura volunteered with Student Legal Services, Civil and Family branch. She is also an avid athlete and played ringette at the National and International levels. During her ringette career, Laura volunteered as a coach and taught hundreds of young athletes at summer camps across the country.
Laura joined Scott Venturo LLP as an articling student in the spring of 2010 and has a particular interest in civil litigation.
