PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Desmond received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2001 and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004.  He then articled and practiced in Northern British Columbia with a general civil litigation practice.

Since joining Scott Hall LLP in late 2006, Desmond has concentrated his practice on insurance defence litigation.  He also collaborates with other members of the firm on a variety of litigation matters.  He has appeared in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, as well as, the Provincial Court of Alberta and Court of Queen's Bench.
