PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Mr. McKinnon obtained his law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2003. Upon completion, he articled and practiced with two law firms in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He developed significant experience in several areas of law, including contract, employment and labour, construction, insurance and commercial litigation.
In 2007, Mr. McKinnon moved to Calgary and joined Scott Hall LLP. He continues to practice in the areas of commercial, construction, insurance and general litigation.
Mr. McKinnon has appeared in the Court of Alberta and Ontario and has participated in a number of alternative dispute mechanisms.
